My Wellness Journey
My wellness journey began in the spice-filled kitchens of India, where I first learned that food was more than just sustenance – it was medicine for both body and soul. But despite growing up with this ancient wisdom, I found myself struggling with PCOS and weight issues that seemed impossible to overcome. This personal battle became my greatest teacher.
Living between the United States and Hong Kong has given me a unique perspective on wellness – one that bridges Eastern wisdom with Western understanding. As an Ayurvedic nutritionist with a masters in psychology and advanced breathwork certification, I've discovered that true health isn't just about what's on our plate – it's about how our bodies process both our food and our experiences.
The Process
When I tell my clients 'we are not what we eat, but what we digest,' I'm speaking from experience. Through my own healing journey, I've developed a 6-week mindful eating program that combines Ayurvedic principles with practical, modern-day solutions. It's the program I wish I'd had during my own struggles.
You'll often find me on Hong Kong's hiking trails or out on the water with my paddle crew – because I believe wellness should feel joyful, not restrictive. As an active member of the American Women's Association of Hong Kong, I've seen how building community can transform our approach to health.
Currently pursuing my health coach certification at IIN, I'm constantly expanding my knowledge to better serve you. But what truly sets me apart isn't just my credentials – it's my understanding that every wellness journey is deeply personal. Having navigated my own path from struggle to strength, I'm here to guide you through yours, combining ancient wisdom with modern science to create sustainable, positive change.
